Meeting of the International Coordination Committee

On January 29-30, 2010, the European headquarters of the Forum in Vienna (Austria) hosted a meeting of the International Coordination Committee of the World Public Forum “Dialogue of Civilizations”. During the meeting, the Committee discussed the agenda for 2010 and problems of the upcoming Eighth Session of the Rhodes Forum. It was decided to organize the Youth Rhodes Forum, and working group was elected to start preparations.

The Youth Forum will take place two days before the regular Rhodes Forum. To introduce the participants of the Youth Forum and quickly involve them in the work, the first day will be organized in the form of a game. The second day will start with work in groups that will be formed with specific terms of reference. The main task will be to find the answer to the question "How do I see the future and what am I ready to do for it?" In the afternoon, the results of the work of the Youth Forum will be summarized. The participants that contributed the most will be honored with rewards. Some participants will take part in sessions and round tables of the Rhodes Forum.

The youth forum is expected to gather about 100 people from different regions of the world (Europe, Russia, CIS countries, Africa, Asia (India and China), Brazil, Argentina, Chile etc). The age is not the mandatory requirement, but young people between the ages of 20 and 30 should account for the majority of participants.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
